Customising
To make my accessories like that of the catwalks I have researched, I have customised the jewellery. For instance the pearls in the Chanel 2013 Spring RTW are a metallic silver mixed with the classic cream. The necklaces are also in abundance and have tonnes of pearls on one piece therefore I bought and sprayed a pearled headband for the structure and wove classic pearls around it to create the same effect. I also coloured half the pickled onions as a pun on the classic pearls, as if I'm pickling a chanel pearl to eat.
In Jean Paul Gaultiers Spring 2013 there is a lot of statement jewellery, very big block pieces that stand out in all colours. I decided to focus on the black jewellery that he opened with because black would stand out among the green of the gherkins. I bought black diy paint and coloured some block statement pieces that I bought.
The versace jewellery I will customise via photoshop, I want yo take the signature versace look and place it among the Spring 2013 collection which contained highlights of neon.
Alexander McQueen was customised by buying pins and attaching skulls which were glued together which would then be pinned into olives to create the Alexander McQueen Olive.

Above I have paired the customised accessory with the catwalk accessory. This shows my inspiration, all the jewellery was sourced from several places such as, vintage shops, internet, friends etc. I then went on the paint, adjust, glue and edit via photoshop to achieve a catwalk look.
